How directories like this earn
Featured slots, category sponsorships and verification badges are the classic ways a niche directory earns, because listed projects want to stand out to people who are already comparing options.
Be realistic: a new directory has little traffic, so early revenue is usually small. Many builders earn most of the value by growing a site for a while and then selling it.
